Members of the Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth agree to conduct themselves and their businesses with professionalism, honesty, and respect. Each member is expected to:
Take reasonable steps within their role and contracted responsibilities to help make each event successful.
Maintain a personal sense of responsibility to every client.
Treat clients fairly and honestly while providing contracted services accurately and on time.
Communicate services, pricing, policies, and expectations clearly and in writing.
Promote goodwill between clients and the wedding and event industry.
Maintain respectful and supportive relationships with fellow PWG members and industry professionals.
Hire qualified team members and provide the training needed to deliver professional service.
Use honest, accurate, and factual advertising.
Honor written agreements and provide clients with clear estimates or proposals.
Operate a business that reflects positively on PWG and the greater Fort Worth community.
Membership in the Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth connects you with a community of wedding and event professionals committed to education, collaboration, and high standards of service.
PWG members receive:
Discounted registration for networking and educational luncheons
Access to members-only Lunch and Learn events
Opportunities to attend networking happy hours throughout the year
A customizable listing in the PWG online member directory
Website links directing visitors to the member’s contact information
Opportunities to develop relationships with other Fort Worth wedding professionals
All payments made to the Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth, including membership dues and event registration fees, are nonrefundable.
Applicants must:
Attend at least one PWG luncheon before applying
Be sponsored by a current PWG member in good standing
Submit a completed membership application
Receive approval from the PWG Board of Directors
Applications are reviewed at regularly scheduled board meetings, which are generally held every other month. Approval timelines may vary depending on when an application is submitted.

Annual renewal: $150
The first-year cost includes a one-time $50 new-member registration fee.
Team membership includes two people from the same company or organization.
