Lynn Winter
Topic - "Work/Life Balance - Myth or Fact"
Lynn Winter is time management strategist and accountability coach living in Fort Worth, Texas. Oh, she's also a full-time attorney, mom, wife, blogger, dance teacher, and host of the Life in Motion podcast. But , her true passion is helping busy women and business owners struggling to find the time to “balance” it all.
Lynn was raised by a single mom after her father was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder. That one event changed the trajectory of her life and is the event that sparked an interest in the law and her desire to become a lawyer.
She is a 2005 graduate of Texas Christian University and received her juris doctorate at Texas Tech University School of Law. She then began her law career practicing insurance defense and coverage and became a slave to the billable hour.
But, it was not until the birth of her daughter that she found a knack and a passion for time management. She learned how to maneuver motherhood and career without losing herself in the process. As a busy lawyer, she knew she needed to maximize her work hours in order to be the most productive, yet efficient lawyer possible. That in turn allowed her to continue to pursue other passions while also maintaining a wonderful relationship with her husband and daughter. Her goal was to make sure that “nothing had to give.”
Now, she draws on the world of billable hours and real-world experience to deliver integrated strategies to help women eliminate the chaos and overwhelm of balancing all of their roles so they can boost productivity and achieve harmony in all aspects of life—work, mind, body, and soul.
Our luncheon theme is Bridgerton, and if you want to dress the part, we suggest English garden party attire!
