Guest Speakers: Taylor Bradford and Rod Baker
This month, superstar entrepreneurs (and PWG Board Members!) Taylor Bradford and Rod Baker will be teaming up to educate us about maximizing ways to promote our businesses. Taylor will teach us all about using Pinterest for business...you'll learn ways to pin, promote and get your brand incredible exposure! Rod will cover using Google, Facebook and Instagram paid ads....what to spend where and when, and how to use ads to make sure your awesome social media posts aren't ignored. If you want to find out how to add these "tools" to your marketing toolbox, this is the presentation for you!
You may know her as the owner of Sugar Creek Event Rentals and Sugar Creek Creative, but Taylor Bradford is also the host & creator of the Boss Girl Creative podcast & community. In 2011, Taylor started a blogging tip/tricks series entitled #bloggingedumacation on her lifestyle blog, TaylorBradford.com. After writing over 40 lessons in that series, she decided to take her lessons and advice and turn them into a podcast which launched in July 2015. With over 220 episodes in the archives, her podcast helps women creatives stand out in a sea of noise so that they can get more leads, book more clients, generate more revenue, make an impact and create a life they want to be living. She has a knack for business and a life-long dream of sharing it with her fellow Boss Girls....and guys!
Rod Baker is the owner and operator of DFW Parties, a mobile DJ business operating in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex. In addition to rocking parties, Rod shares the knowledge he's gained from marketing and sales, and he's an industry optimist! One of these days he'll finish his book "Gratitude and The Grind", a guidebook for marketing in the wedding industry. In the meantime, he shares his knowledge with colleagues and peers looking to improve their results.
